Patient #: 3
Name: Amaya Nezrahaal
Gender: female
Age: 18
Appearance: Amaya is approximately 5'7'' and weighs 120 lbs. She has short, dark hair and light green eyes she insists are actually purple. She will be upset if you disagree with her, so it may be best to play along. Her skin is pale and she has scars running up and down her arms from her... er.... "experiments."
Mental Illnesses: Schizophrenia - believes she is a magician and "sees" all manner of paranormal things. Also believes she is psychic.
Paranoia - believes that such paranormal things are out for her life.
Personality: A quiet young lady who is terrified of silence. She will willingly interact with anyone who she is convinced is "like her" (read: a magic user or a psychic). Prone to ranting about "her abilities" to nobody if in a room alone, or if whoever else is with her is too quiet. She has several fairies that guard her that she refuses to believe aren't real, as she considers them the source of her "powers." Difficult to get to know because she is extremely skeptical and often can be found sitting in a corner, head buried in her knees, whispering. Unfortunately, such musings remain secret, as she stops whenever someone gets close - no matter how stealthily they attempt to approach. Has abandonment issues and is terrified of losing anyone around her, regardless of how well she knows them or not.
Biography: Amaya has been practicing magic since a very young age, but had kept it to herself until shortly before she was thrown into the asylum. She'd made the mistake of telling one of her friends, who felt that it would be best for her if she were put somewhere "safer." But even Amaya, who is by nature an introvert, couldn't stay silent as "the thoughts and emotions of the spirits tortured her." She became more outspoken once in the asylum in an attempt to validate her practices. Whether it's all in her mind or whether the magic is true is debatable, but she doesn't care what anybody else thinks - the fae who guard her are her friends. She doesn't need anybody else but them.
